Ghost Writing

Ghost Writing is an installation at Factatory in Lyon, France. It explores intentional imperfections through a typographic experiment: I designed a digital font, disassembled it, and laser-cut its letterforms from wood. Using these wooden pieces as stamps, I freely composed words with black ink on white tulle sheets. The transparency of the fabric creates a layered, shifting effect (hence the name Ghost Writing) as the stamped characters seem to float in space. Part of the installation is a wall of randomly arranged letters printed on paper, which interacts with the tulle sheets and enhances the spatial experience. Together, they form an unconventional specimen of deliberate imperfection
