Poempictures (Versképek)

Poempictures (Versképek) is a data visualization project made with Processing. It uses generative design to turn text into images. The system creates a triangle for every letter based on its place in the alphabet, then layers them around a central point in different sizes. This means every single word gets its own unique geometric illustration, where the colors represent the vowel qualities. The color palette is completely subjective and user-defined.
The project is presented across three posters, each dedicated to a different 20th-century Hungarian poem. While the color guide is included on each poster, the color system itself varies, based on my personal artistic choice for each poem.
