I’m Mikl\u00f3s Ferencz (pronounced as Meek-losh Feh-rents), a creative professional with a diverse skill set encompassing web design, graphic design, type design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My passion lies in typography and web design. I’m also deeply intrigued by innovative book design and experimental mediums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s a brief overview of my journey:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b8 I conducted typographic research at the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique (ANRT) in Nancy, France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b8 I earned a Master of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design, Budapest (MOME), Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b8 I pursued graduate-level graphic design studies at Haute \u00c9cole des Arts du Rhin, Strasbourg (HEAR), France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b8 I spent a year at St. Joost University in Breda, The Netherlands, immersing myself in experimental and conceptual graphic design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently based in Marseille, France, I previously worked in Budapest as an art director and full-time graphic designer, while also launching a freelance practice that continues to connect me with diverse and engaging projects.
My portfolio includes collaborations with the European Parliament in Brussels, Central Theater and Metro4 in Budapest, and publishers such as Shearsman Books, Boiler House Press, and University College London in the UK, as well as Deno\u00ebl Publishing in France. I\u2019ve also contributed to projects like Blue Pearl Stone in Chicago, delivering custom typeface and typographic logo design for clients ranging from startups to established companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond web and mobile UI\/UX design, my work spans visual identities, editorial design, posters, and custom type design, type engineering, and teaching. My approach is multidisciplinary, with a strong emphasis on typographic precision and thoughtful visual communication.
In addition to my professional work, I am an active volunteer at Code for Hungary, a civic tech NGO, where I contribute my design expertise to projects that have a positive, social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
