Brickstone

Brickstone is a humanist sans serif typeface which comes with 6 weights. The name Brickstone indicates a sort of handmade, material (such as stone) feel.
The continuity of the smooth curves is interrupted by sharp angles. The structure of the forms is between broad nib pen calligraphy and some kind of stone carving method, together reconstructed to a sans serif family.
The font is still under construction, however I let you sneak-peek into what I’m working on at the moment. 🙂
It is not only the glyphset, the kerning and the engineering, etc, but some shape refinements are still work in progress.
